since i've made friends with you

i couldn't believe how lucky i could get
i couldn't quite understand what i really felt
i thought it'd always be a love unrequited
i thought a "U and I" would never ever be befitted
the only thing that i never thought about, is to be wrong...
but then you said the words that i've been waiting to hear for so long...
we went up and we went down,
seems like we've been going 'round and 'round
you wanted left and i wanted right,
but thank God we never got into a petty fight...
now here it is, it's really the day
we've gone this far, what more can they say?
you and me, there is more to us...
i believe we can go farther without a fuss..
yes, we've been friends
and you finally knew
how my heart longed for this moment
where we both can say, i love you...
